What services does Future Immigration Advisory cover?+
We assist with a comprehensive range of U.S. immigration categories including family petitions, business and investor visas, employment matters, student visas, adjustment of status, extensions and changes of status, consular cases, citizenship, waivers, government responses, and special programs. We do not offer asylum services.
Which services receive priority attention?+
E-2 treaty investor visas, F-1 student visas, change of status to F-1, and change of status to E-2 are central focus areas.
Can an immigration outcome be guaranteed?+
No. A visa, status, petition, or other immigration outcome cannot be guaranteed. Government agencies make decisions based on applicable rules and the individual record.
Is there a fixed minimum investment for E-2?+
There is no single fixed investment amount that guarantees E-2 eligibility. The investment is assessed in proportion to the cost and nature of the business and must satisfy the other E-2 requirements.
Can an E-2 case use an existing business or franchise?+
Potentially, yes. A new enterprise, operating business, or franchise can support an E-2 case when ownership, investment, source of funds, operations, and the investor’s role are properly documented.
What should an F-1 applicant prepare?+
Common planning areas include a suitable SEVP-certified school, Form I-20, SEVIS steps, academic history, program relevance, sufficient funding, sponsor evidence where applicable, and credible interview preparation.
Can a visitor change to F-1 inside the United States?+
Some applicants may be eligible to request a change of status. The current I-94, maintenance of visitor status, timing, school start date, financial evidence, and the reason plans changed all require review.
Can I study while an F-1 change of status is pending?+
A person changing from a classification that does not permit the intended study generally should not begin that program until the required student status is effective. School coordination is important.
Does change-of-status approval place a visa in my passport?+
No. Status inside the United States and a visa issued for travel are different. Future international travel may require a visa application in the appropriate category.
How long will my case take?+
Preparation and government processing times vary by category, agency, filing location, visa availability, interview scheduling, and whether additional evidence is requested.
What happens during a profile assessment?+
We review the intended outcome, nationality, current location or status, prior immigration history, timing, family or business facts, education or employment background, finances, and available supporting documents.
